Malim Consulting Engineers' evolution is one of passion, hard work, and discovering opportunities. It began 30 years ago when the firm was initially set up to offer mechanical & electrical building services, continues to grow into specialised M&E consulting services such as biomass, biogas, and power plants with our local partners, subsequently expanded beyond Malaysian borders, incorporated as Malim Consulting Engineers Sdn. Bhd., a private limited company in 2006.

Our associated company, LAJ Kejuruteraan Sdn. Bhd. was set up in 1978 to provide electrical supervising services initially. Today, we have further expanded our specialisation to include testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault investigations of electrical equipment up to 33kV, electrical energy management, and also as a Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) approved Specialised Courses Training Centre.

Our clients range from power plants, green technologies (biomass and biogas), palm oil mills, commercial centres and buildings, mixed developments (housing and shop-offices), factories, sawmills, and quarries. We are grateful to be providing these services to our valued and market leading companies in these varied industries from small businesses to some of the largest companies throughout Malaysia. As for overseas market, Malim has carried out projects in Thailand and Indonesia.
